Hello & Welcome to Sister Organics...

Sister Organics is a collection of dresses made to order in beautiful organic and sustainable fabrics. Based in Devon, we design and make special occasion dresses, casual wedding dresses, bridal separates, dresses for civil ceremonies and party dresses, all made in the UK.
We also offer a made-to-measure service and make bespoke occasion wear in eco fabrics.

A little bit more about Sister Organics...

 

Hello, I’m Natalie, the designer/ maker and woman behind Sister Organics. I am generally a one-woman business, but when I’m busy I have help from a very talented seamstress. In terms of style, my dresses are simple and feminine. Working with organic cotton, hemp/silk, organic silks and English-made cotton lace. Designed with laid-back style and comfort in mind, typically for outdoor, festival and casual weddings. My most recent pieces have been bridal separates, which I like to think are easier to wear again for special occasions or easily adapted to be worn as regular clothing.

 

Everything is individually made to order and I’m really happy to customise the styles I offer. I also make one-off bespoke wedding dresses in sustainable fabrics. 

 

I learnt my trade at the London College of Fashion and worked in the fashion industry for a good few years prior to this, working for eco fashion label Ciel and recycling label Traid Remade amongst others. 

 

I’m not really a wedding shop kind-a girl. When I got married, I didn’t want a traditional dress. We organised an outdoor festival style wedding and I wanted a dress to match. I realised there was a real lack of choice for brides who wanted something non-traditional, fun and stylish but to still look like a bride on their wedding day.

 

I chose the name Sister Organics as I think female relationships are very important to all women; we are all sisters, daughters, mothers. I believe that when women work together and support each other, we create a more considerate world.
